(ages 8-12)
Rosie tries everything she can think of to fix the divorce, from being happy (to cheer them up), to cleaning the house, to making better grades – but nothing works. Rosie blames herself and feels sad, confused, and angry, but she gets help from her school counselor and realizes the divorce is not her fault, and that she must focus on herself, not whatever her parents did or didn’t do. A simple but very relatable story for an elementary-to-middle-school-age child.
