This isn’t a story book, so much as it is a collection of short, plain-spoken vignettes about how children can handle various situations and feelings that arise in connection with a divorce, especially in the aftermath of the divorce. There is a consistent emphasis on expressing feelings and showing respect. The message of the book couldn’t be summed up any better than the last sentence of the book: “Divorce in your family means many things will change, but one thing that never changes is your parents’ love for you.”
